Mary - we'd love for you to visit us soon 🦁
We've been saying thank you to

They're our own team & they've worked so hard, been so patient & gone above & beyond to keep the buses running:
Drivers
Engineers
Cleaners
Controllers
We're proud of you 👍
⏰ we're extending concessionary travel
In response to some supermarkets and banks making special arrangements for exclusive access to food and services for the vulnerable and elderly, we have decided to temporarily allow concessionary travel before 9.30am.
FLAKE NEWS POLITE REQUEST: We have checked around the office and unfortunately come up short on finding anyone who can see into the future. I know it is important for you to get home tonight, but genuinely we don't know what will be running later this afternoon 😆~Ste

Extended 📢
✅ The Government has extended its £2 capped single fare scheme until the end of October and we can today confirm our participation with the schemes extension.
As currently, all routes except
#redarrow

You may remember a few weeks back, we found this little guy on one of our buses 🧸
We've taken Ted out and about across the network to see if he can find his owner but to no avail yet, although it does look like he's had a great time on his travels! 🚌
✅ We can now confirm our participation in the extension of the £2 single fare cap until the end of June 2024.
As currently, all trentbarton services will offer the £2 single fare except for
#redarrow
, which does not meet the Government's conditions for its funding.
❄️ As things return to normal, we’d like to say a huge thank you to our really good team who have helped to keep things moving.
They battled through the Beast from the East to keep our communities connected - we’re proud to have such dedicated people in our team 👏💪👍
@jeremycorbyn
Hi Jeremy, apologies about the delay. Due to the freezing temp overnight, we had some challenges this morning with our buses (frozen brake pads in this case). It would be great to have you back to see why our customers call us the really good bus company 🚌
FLAKE NEWS: 9.00am and final update. We are running full routes on all services today. We'll keep you up to date with any issues across our network, but FLAKE NEWS is going into semi-retirement and hide in a dark room for a week. It's been emotional, thanks for tuning in😎~Ste
Shortly, along with the rest of Nottingham and beyond, we will pause to reflect on the tragic events which took place on Tuesday.
Our thoughts are with all those affected 💚
Buses will not leave Friar Lane or Beastmarket Hill until the minute silence has ended.
We are deeply saddened to hear about the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Everyone at trentbarton would like to extend its condolences to all members of the Royal Family at this sad time.
Happy 103rd Birthday Stanley 🎈
We were honoured to present Stanley with his very own namesake as we celebrated his birthday yesterday with his close friends and family 🥳
Many happy returns 🎂
🌈 👏 thank you to each and every key worker, you are all doing incredible things right now.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our team for working tirelessly to keep our key workers moving.

Nala is an 8 month old rescue who is scared of buses, so her owner Sophie got in touch to see if we could help.
After a bit of encouragement in the form of treats and some kind words from our Lead Driver Erika, Nala found buses aren't as scary after all.🙌

Happy 6th Birthday Noah 🎂
Last month, we were approached by Noah's Mum who told us how much of a fan Noah is of our mango buses.
Today, Noah turns 6 and we wanted to surprise him with his very own trentbarton birthday message 🎈
When two worlds collide 🤝 💕
Jillian, our driver and Andrew, an
@NCT_Buses
driver tied the knot recently. Of course, they had to travel in style, so we used a mainline bus to take their guests to the wedding reception.
Wishing you both many years of happiness together!
📢 Following the Governments most recent announcement this evening, we can confirm there will not be any changes to our services until further notice and we will continue to be there when you need us.

Ted's adventure continues 🐻 🌎
Ted has spent the last week or so over at our Derby depot, meeting the drivers and managers there. Unfortunately Ted still hasn't been claimed, so he will be seeing his days out on a children’s ward at QMC, so he can continue to make people smile.

After 39 years with us, our scheduler Richard Sherratt retires today 🤝
Schedulers help decide how our cities move. They identify efficiencies that make public transport services more attractive & more affordable for its users.
Thank you for everything Richard & best wishes 🚌
Good afternoon you wonderful brave souls out there that have no alternative but to travel with us during this trying time...... Anyhoo, Nicola is back for a couple of hours, currently not suffering from being hit with vodka, but rum...... That's another story 😇🤫

❄️ Weather update ❄️
Due to the continued heavy snow, with many roads now impassable and in the interests of safety, we have taken the difficult decision to suspend all services with immediate effect until the end of the day.
We will provide more updates early tomorrow
Yesterday, after a phenomenal 35 years service, Derek Watson retired having started with us in 1987! The team said " He is a true gent who never fails to lift our spirits".
Thank you for everything Derek, you'll be sorely missed!
We have all had that heart-sinking moment when we can't find our wallet or purse. Even worse, when you think that it's gone forever. Well, how relieved would you be if someone was kind enough to find it & return it to your house personally? Cue Chris...
FLAKE NEWS: Morning all, the rumours that the Beast from the East was going to lay waste to civilisation as we know it are as yet unfounded. That said, we are likely to get snow over the next few days, we'll try and keep you up to date on here.
Look out for the free 'leccy bus helping out on

Well...... It's been emotional being back, especially on a Saturday. Everyone please take care, be safe out there, and if all else fails I find cleansing one's insides with a little alcohol keeps the germs away...... Drink responsibly.... Until next time ~Nicola
