Honestly, I find it hard to criticise Nkunku when we play him out of position. Against West Ham, he played in half space and was really good. He can't lead the line as a striker. If we want him in the box, then he needs a strike partner to play as a split forward. If not, he will always drop deep when he gets isolated. That's his profile. We can't doubt his talent. We just haven't created a shape that suits him. He will 100% be one of our best players in a 3-4-3 with wingbacks and two 10s/wingers or in a 3-5-2 or 4-4-2.

Cole Palmer is talented, but the hype around him is overblown. Most of his goals come from penalties, and without them, his output is average. People act like he’s carrying Chelsea, but he’s just a good player in a struggling team—not a superstar.
