Great advice from @traumamom4 RE: setting expectations. Important that it’s not “one stop shopping” for a mentor. For me, it’s by committee @AWSchat
@WomenSurgeons @Dr_Stepheny @LillianKao1 @traumabryce @traumadoctors @Dr_AMeagher has some great advice in her blog. Set realistic expectations, like frequency of meetings and what the goal of the relationship is. A paper? A project? A grant? Leadership? Be honest about what you are hoping for. #AWSChat #SurgMentorship
