The largest positions by volume are Apple (46M $), Microsoft (44M $), and NVIDIA (43M $), followed by Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta. Additionally, the sovereign wealth fund owns 25 % of the British real estate company Shaftesbury Capital and 15 % of the German real estate company Vonovia. The fund, financed by revenues from the state’s oil and gas industry, is designed to ensure that Norway will maintain a stable financial base for its welfare system and secure pensions for future generations.
