On 05/26/19 our beloved K9 Marko was put down due to an untreatable medical issue. In honor of K9 Marko, Tracy PD will be hosting a "last ride" procession on 6/21/19 at 10 AM. This procession will be open to the public, outside law enforcement agencies and animal lovers.

Tracy PD Traffic Unit conducted pedestrian crosswalk safety enforcement. The goal is to educate the public on yielding to pedestrians in a crosswalk. Officers issued 65 citations for failing to yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.

Our motor officers don’t just write tickets! On 1/31, one of our traffic officers stopped a commercial vehicle for a vehicle code violation where the driver was wanted on a warrant in another county for sex crimes against a child. He was arrested & booked into County Jail.
