PSN was listed, but not required when the game launched.
Sony is forcing people to sign up for an account, for a platform they have nothing to do with, or lose access to a game they bought.
Not all countries even have PSN.

Those games are nothing alike. One lets you make decisions on what kind of character you will be, and tells great stories. The other forces you to make uncharacteristically forced decisions and makes you feel bad for these decisions you weren't in control of. Very different games
