Reports have indicated that Utah's main hold up is getting their board to sign off on the high 8 figure estimated price tag to replace and rebrand everything from Pac 12 to Big 12.
Other universities like UofA and ASU have estimated that this would cost them around 50k.

Allgeier's season’s being overlooked!
10th most rushing yards in a season at BYU. Did it w/ 150 carries, next lowest number of carries is Staley w/ 197 in ‘01. If Allgeier had 197 carries he'd have 1,400ish yards which would put him at 2nd all-time season. Guy balled out.

In a game full of big plays this one was crucial. Instead of potentially being tied or down 4 at half, BYU goes into halftime up 16-3.

Grossly underrated play from Saturday: the INT from Wilgar blowing up the TE screen & caught by Tooley. A momentum changer when the defense needed it, w/ASU driving and about to score. Incredible play that arguably had a similar impact on the game as the Allgeier chasedown punch

ESPN preseason rankings show top 44 teams. The new B12 has 8 spots (not counting OK), PAC12 just 5. It’ll be more telling after the season but currently 2/3 of the new B12 members are in those rankings, and only half of PAC 12.
