Are there still people who refuse to believe that a substantial number of Man City's 115 charges relate to their refusal to provide documentation? That's not "complicated", it's an abject failure of governance.
Dear
@henrywinter
. Assuming that you can, justify to
@everton
and an Evertonian, whose club was kicked out of Europe and fans punished for five years for something they had no involvement in, why these six bastardised PL clubs shouldn’t be punished. We’re all ears.
Sold Barkley. Never replaced. Sold Lukaku. Never replaced. Sold Gueye. Never replaced. The result? - consistently sliding down the league table. Anyone who thinks selling Richarlison will spring us forward is kidding themself.
I can’t “hate” a 21 year old lad who grew up as an Everton fan and kicks a ball about for a living. No idea where people get these irrational sentiments from but I don’t have it in me. Our attitude towards young players generally needs to improve though.
I’d like an investigation into decisions like this that cost us points last season. How about you refer this to an independent committee you corrupt bastards.
@premierleague
Laughable that people think Lampard wanted Maupay and McNeil. Ancelotti didn’t want Josh King. Benitez didn’t want El Ghazi. They were imposed. Lampard wanted Broja, Gallagher and Kudus among others. Maupay and McNeil were weak panic buys by a club in a position of weakness.
I’m not bothered about Digne leaving despite his words. I’ve witnessed Seamus Coleman who has poured a decades worth of energy into being supporting and playing for this club given dogs abuse on here by so called fans. Some of whom are ‘crying’ now over Digne. Give me a break.
Lampard has won four out of his six games at Goodison. Before that, we’d won one out of seven. However you try to slice it up, that’s an improvement. (67% win ratio versus 14%). 💙

Moshiri arrived in 2016, since then Everton have the 16th highest net spend in English football so let's stop pretending Everton have spent more than most in the PL.
If any pundits mention Van Dick’s injury tomorrow, make sure you tweet this picture to them. If any tackle was a dirty one it was this one. And what goes around…
We've WON 31 points this season. 5 less than the whole of last season. 8 less than the entire season before. With 12 games left to play. Progress? Bloody right it is.
Remember Jelavic. Joined us and hit the ground running scoring goals for fun. Then Moyes told him to start tracking back and from that point he couldn’t score to save his life. Never complained. Never moaned. Just got his head down and worked hard. That’s an
@everton
footballer.
When Villa sold Grealish last summer the first thing the CEO Purslow did was release a video explaining why and their plans going forward. Itdoesnt matter whether Grealish is better or more expensive, it’s about keeping fans informed.
@Everton
Somebody needs to step up.
Klopp is going to try and get every match postponed while Mané and Salah are at the African Nations Cup, isn’t he. And the
@premierleague
will bow to his demands.

Writing to
@everton
asking them to find out and sack whoever is leaking the team every week before it’s officially announced. The new manager doesn’t need to know somebody at the club is potentially making his job harder.
So
@SkySports
spend ten minutes talking about a soft shirt pull that you see at every single corner but completely forget to mention Felipe’s TWO yellow card offences while already ON a yellow.
Two years ago Moshiri appointed Carlo Ancelotti. An appointment most of us were pleasantly surprised by and celebrated. The fact that he walked away isn’t Moshiri’s fault. Worth remembering this when people are condemning him and giving him stick.
The football media literally tripping over themselves to placate the Liverpool fanbase, the extent to which our media revolves around that one club is shocking.
Let’s be clear about this. Paul Tierney was tonight’s referee at Anfield. LFC have been squealing about him for a while. They squealed when he was announced as referee. He was sent there tonight to give them everything they wanted and end the controversy around him and them.
“The system is designed to make upward mobility very, very difficult. Never a truer word spoken by
@alanshearer
. That’s your so-called “Fair Play” system,
@premierleague
. There’s nothing “fair” about it at all. It’s protectionism at its most blatant and it should be illegal.
I'm with NUFC fans when it comes to
#PremierLeagueIsCorrupt
- can't think of a clearer demonstration than that than last season. From start to finish with a complicit media.
@premierleague
If Forest have only been deducted four points, then
@Everton
need to be taking the appropriate legal action against the
@premierleague
. It's really as simple as that.
Every single team has strengthened this summer. Except the one that dodged relegation by the skin of its teeth. That team - our team - is now measurably weaker.
I see mentions of Pickford and Van Shite on my timeline for the umpteenth time and as it always does, my mind goes back to this… and it’s not the only one.
The irony of
@bbcsport
running a promo for their FA Cup coverage and saying (paraphrased) “it belongs to the people.” The
@premierleague
have stolen the game off the fans for their own greed, have no integrity or honesty and are steadily destroying it for the majority.
So according to some Evertonians, acknowledging that a player played well on Saturday means you have “low standards” because that player hasn’t played well this season. 😂 When a player plays well you’re allowed to say so, simple as that.
Evertonians need to get a grip and accept that turning a club around doesn’t happen in one window. Don’t pretend you’d give any other manager more time than the previous 12 who have tried since Moyes was sacked. You wouldn’t.
Let’s be clear about what happened yesterday at Old Trafford. The same referee who stood still while Klopp entered the pitch to shout in his face sent a manager off for complaining about a decision from the touchline. Chris Kavanagh sent off Ancelotti for less, against MU too.
Another important issue where the
@premierleague
PSR calculations are concerned is that for many years, Everton froze season ticket prices because they understood the demographic of their fanbase and cost of living issues. The PL couldn't give a crap about supporters.
Whose idea was it to wheel Carragher out to lecture Evertonians that the PL has done nothing wrong? Well it's backfired, the man is a shill and his views are nakedly transparent. Credibility ground zero.
Football in this country isn’t broken, it’s bent. I’ve stopped believing that what I’m seeing is genuine, is real or fair. I’m not talking specific incidents, I’m talking everything. The whole thing.
@FA
@premierleague
Remarkable that Vlasic is judged so harshly at the age of 20 by many who give Davies a free pass because he’s... 20. Vlasic is the youngster with the most potential at the club imo. But he’s largely dismissed because he hasn’t emerged through the academy system.
Respect and credit to Andy Maddley who was absolutely brilliant last night. Ref'd the game, not the teams, which is all you want but a very, very rare thing in the Premier League.
@FA_PGMOL
The name Olivia Pratt-Korbel will forever be remembered in this city alongside names like James Bulger and Rhys Jones, children whose futures were stolen from them by the dregs of society.
Mykolenko slipped when he first came on. Big deal. He also put a few good tackles in straight after so put your attention seeking criticism about the lad in the bin where it belongs.
Dyche played a blinder today. Would have been easy to throw Keane in at CB and Godfrey at LB. Instead, he gave Godfrey the best chance to succeed by putting him in his natural role, changing formation and it paid off. He trusted them and they repaid him. For the gaffer 👏👏💙.
If the
@PremierLeague
consider themselves a private business that can refuse to be transparent, then they expose themselves to litigation like any other private business.
The
@premierleague
is like a fucking mafia crime family. The veil of secrecy over everything and everyone. The kangaroo court were they make their own rules independent of outside scrutiny. A compliant media terrified of crossing them. No transparency. No accountability.
#corrupt
Here’s a few highlights of 2023. Strangling a player is now acceptable. Handballs are only given as penalties against Everton, not for. And when a wall doesn’t retreat, just draw a second line.
#PremierLeagueCorrupt
@Beardamendi
@EvertonEFC1878
I’d say he is. Media is still hanging onto this idea that Stones can carry the ball out of defence, but he needs to be able to defend first.
As a cross party select committee, the
@DCMS
absolutely shamed and embarrassed the
@premierleague
fronted by Richard Masters this morning. He was condescending, rude, and arrogant as well as irritable, such is the contempt he had for scrutiny and accountability.
Any criticism of Gordon today is unjustified, it was a thankless task for a young kid playing the lone striker role that he’s simply not used to playing. Remember, he’s still played about 50 first team games for us and young players don’t come out of u23’s the finished article.
Rafa taking stick for playing DCL for the full 90 mins at the weekend. At 3-2 behind, just imagine the reaction if he’d taken him off. We saw how the crowd reacted when he took Richy off for actually being injured. Laughable criticism.
Football fans have been programmed to believe that sacking managers is the only solution to every problem. The fact is, every time our club has sacked one, the next has had a more difficult job. The stats back that up. It’s making us worse, not better.
For Everton to have three games left and be safe from the drop, given the chaos of this season and 8 points - almost three wins - stolen from us, illustrates the miracle of a job Sean Dyche has done this season. 💙
This is a big development &
damning. DCMS with major questions re PL’s handling of Everton’s PSR case & Richard Masters’ appearance in front of select committee
It’s becoming clearer by the day that Ancelotti was told after the season ended - in his meeting with Brands to discuss the summer transfer window - that we weren’t spending anything this year. Thus, Ancelotti walked away. And who can blame him now.
@RichardBuxton_
I think there’s also quite a lot of envy at the way the fans mobilised to such an extent to create the atmosphere to lift these players.
I’ve boycotted
@talkSPORT
Drive until Bent & Goldstein are gone from the show but was sent this via WhatsApp so, what of the two reasons he proposes do you think is the one the that in effect here?
@NadiaWhittomeMP
@LilianGreenwood
@AlexJJNorris
I speak as an Evertonian, the entire fiasco is fundamentally lacking transparency, honesty and integrity. Neither of our clubs should have been sanctioned by a rule that the
@premierleague
has now declared as out of date and not fit for purpose.
Let’s be straight, the
@premierleague
interfered in the first sitting of this kangaroo court. And they are, by publicly leaking the contents of their reply to Burnham’s letter, interfering the second time around. There’s no credibility whatsoever to the idea this is independent.
@SkySports
I'll tell you what's unnecessary. Still asking questions about it to solicit a response when a family is receiving death threats. I truly hope at some point legal action is taken.
