- even if sebastian did happen to be married before he was sent to urbanshade, the ring would have been confiscated before he even got there due to him being imprisoned, and, if for some strange reason he somehow kept it, it wouldn't fit anymore

adding on to that, banning ship art is... questionable. i wouldn't have a problem with it if ALL ship art was moderated equally, but (from my personal experience with the server) sebastian ships are more intensively moderated than any other ship.

other than the absolutely outrageous discord rules, for some reason one of the devs (presumably zerum) thought it would be a good idea to add a wedding ring to sebastian's in-game model (photo below)
there is no logical reason in the lore for sebastian to have a wedding ring. -

overall i feel like this was blown way out of proportion on BOTH ends. zerum & zeal got way too strict with the character to the point of adding new rules in the discord server just because they were uncomfy with something, and the fandom was being far too aggressive & toxic

what i personally would do is
a. either remove the shipping rules from the server or make it so that NO ships are allowed
b. remove sebastian from the game entirely & add something else
c. make zerum and sebastian NOT canonically married (& remove the ring from the design) -
