@MrBobishere Well I just told you he’s 29th in career yards per game in the playoffs. His TD:INT in the playoffs is 18:9, which isn’t all that impressive either. So the stats you picked still don’t look great for him. And you came to my post

@MrBobishere And he gets way too much credit for the Giants’ defense holding Brady and Moss to 14 points in the Super Bowl

@Michael26897152 The passing yards get a lot less impressive when factoring in that he averaged 7 yards per attempt in his career, which is better than exactly 1 QB in the Hall of Fame, George Blanda

@Michael26897152 Eli has also now dropped to 11th in both of those stats and will probably be passed by Russell Wilson in TDs next year. Right now he is already behind all-time great Matt Ryan in both of those categories

@Michael26897152 He has 1 of them. And this week in particular you’re probably going to see that play a lot. He also had a better overall Super Bowl performance than either of Eli’s games. He threw for 373 and 3 TDs and his team scored more than Eli’s two Super Bowls combined

@MrBobishere He had very similar numbers to Eli 29/48 266 and a TD. Luckily for Brady he has had enough transcendent moments in his career that he doesn’t need to base his case for greatness on the smallest sample size possible, unlike Eli

@MrBobishere And great quarterbacks are expected to produce in spite of that. We’re not even talking about great defenses for half of those games. The Bucs were 18th in points allowed and the Cowboys were 13th

@JosephReardon20 Brees, Peyton, and Marino all put together historic seasons during their careers Favre had a higher career completion percentage, threw touchdowns on a higher percentage of his passes, and a much better record despite hanging around way too long

@Michael26897152 You also can’t tell the story of the league without Nick Foles. Is he getting in too?

@JosephReardon20 Eli threw almost 3000 more passes than Montana 3000 more than Unitas 3300 more than Kelly 4000 more than Warner 3400 more than Aikman 800 more than Elway Eli is also a career .500 QB and was never a top 5 player at his position during his era while these other guys were

This should be about it for Bobby Hurley. There has to be somebody better out there for Arizona State

The worst part is that the Suns can’t even tank to fix things because they potentially won’t own their own first rounder until 2032. It’s a brutal spot to be in, but dumping more investment into a team that isn’t even playing well doesn’t feel like the right answer

Giving up Luka for an old and frequently injured AD plus a first rounder in four years is insane
