I’m just devastated to hear the news of the passing of my dear friend Eddie Van Halen. He fought a long and hard battle with his cancer right to the very end. Eddie was one of a very special kind of person, a really great friend. Rest In Peace my dear friend till we meet again.

I was totally shocked to hear the very sad news of Jeff Beck’s passing. Jeff was such a nice person and an outstanding iconic, genius guitar player - there will never be another Jeff Beck. His playing was very special & distinctively brilliant! He will be missed. RIP Jeff -Tony

I woke up this morning to hear the awful news of Taylor Hawkins death. What a terrible loss to us all. He was such a lovely guy and such a brilliant player. My deepest condolences go out to his family, his band and his fans. He will be sadly missed Rest In Peace Taylor. -Tony

Had a really lovely day today at the Gibson Garage launch In London. My friend Cesar the CEO of Gibson invited myself, @DrBrianMay and @JimmyPage to the launch. It’s a very impressive place and it will be great for guitar players to visit… plenty of guitars to see and play.

Very sad day today! We lost our dear friend Trevor Francis - Britain’s first million pound soccer player and a really lovely man. Maria & I have so many wonderful memories over the years with Trevor and it’s so sad to lose him at such an early age. RIP Trev, we’ll miss you buddy.

#OnThisDay in 1973, "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" was released. We had written the album earlier that year in the dungeons of Clearwell Castle in the Forest of Dean, England. Honestly, that place gave us the chills. Great atmosphere for writing new material though! 🪦
