michonne not telling rick about rj yet is not only fantastic storytelling, as it keeps the audience waiting, raising anticipation, but it also just makes so much sense. why would she add that extra pressure/rage to him, that he’s missed out. they’ve only just found each other.
apparently there is some discourse on people “hating” michonne for not telling rick about rj, but this is rick grimes we are talking about, the same person who bit and ripped a man’s throat out to save his son and michonne... let’s be serious for a second.

the whisperer arc was perfect imo. it wasn't too short, but also didn't overstay it's welcome. alpha & beta were well fleshed out & both actors were fantastic. it completely bought back to fear of walkers & improved the overall horror of the show
