Jack Kirby was born this day in 1917. Tom Spurgeon used to post a parade of Kirby panels every year on Jack’s birthday. I miss Tom and I miss that tradition, so if anybody wants to share their favorite Kirby comics panels, I’d love to see them.

Neal Adams is a legend. I think about his work a lot. The few times I met him at shows, he was very affable. You could tell he had a great relationship with his family. If I had to choose a favorite work of his its when Batman duels in the desert with Ra’s Al Ghul.
