Christopher Nolan made his first feature film for £6,000. Now look at him. The UK indie film scene needs more support, but at the same time filmmakers need to be realistic. Don't write your movie with a million pounds in mind. Work with people you know who are just as passionate.

Actors, if you audition for a role, get the part and get paid for it, please do us the common curtesy and include that film on your filmography, whether that be your website, Mandy or Spotlight. It's very hard to not see your film listed on there knowing how much work was put in.

Casting is the one of the best and worst things about independent production. You see so many talented people that you hate to disappoint but you know it has to done because your can't have hundreds of cast members in a little to no budget movie.

The sad thing is, many talented actors won't get casting opportunities like this because they might not have a massive following, and it's easy how the so called "influencers" are able to get work when many others struggle. If anything, this is an insult to GCSE drama students.

My biggest confidence lack is believing in myself, but trust me when I say my debut feature film is gonna be of the most powerful debuts ever made by a British film director! You don't invest this much time into something without knowing how good it's going to turn out.

Christopher Nolan came to work last night to do an introduction to Tenet in IMAX 15/70mm. We stood shoulder to shoulder at the back of the screen as we watched the first ten minutes of the film. I tried my hardest to hold in my inner fanboy.

My entire Uni course mocked me for wanting to make a fantasy film for my graduate project. I went and did it anyway. It’s since won 5 awards, received 13 official film festival selections, been broadcasted on TV and as a result, YouTube now pays me revenue for my films.
