I’m going to continue to say it. Those that make their calls, follow up like their business depended on it, maintain consistent relevant marketing, communicate with their database and partners, and schedule and go on a lot of appointments are winning right now. Period.
Real estate is hard work. Unless you have a bottomless bucket of cash to buy leads with from day one, you need to put in the work to get your career going.

To be successful in this business, you must put in the time, put in the work and be accountable to your clients.
Whatever you do right now, be sure to watch your tone. You cannot send out “business as usual” type messages right now without looking like you’re out of touch.
The worst mistake you can make in a market with this much opportunity is to dwell on the one that got away. There are many more buyers and sellers out there who need your advice. Go find them and serve them!
Making cold calls is hard. Shooting video is hard.
Wanna know what’s also hard? Being broke.
You get to choose because it’s one or the other. This formula is very simple, very straightforward, but it’s not easy. You can choose to struggle, or you can choose to lean in.
This market will likely test you more than anything you’ve encountered over the past seven to 10 years. You are going to need energy, physical and mental toughness, and an outlet for your pent-up stress. Exercising on a daily basis checks all those boxes.

🔥5 conversations with people from your database
🔥5 conversations with new people you’ve never talked to before
🔥4 follow-up conversations
Real estate is a business that is built and maintained by your own practices and work ethic. If you don’t spend time prospecting and developing your database of leads, you won’t have the business to help carry you through the years.
As a real estate agent, you get pulled in too many directions to work from memory and hope you get around to performing these essential tasks.
Create the checklists. Follow them. Live them.
Real estate is a business that is built and maintained by your own practices and work ethic. If you don’t spend time prospecting and developing your database of leads, you won’t have the business to help carry you through the years.
Stay calm. Take care of your loved ones. Connect with your clients under contract. And be in communication with your partners and teams around Safty. This week, make sure you have lots of personal texts, calls, video emails and more to your database. Be there for them!
Real estate is a contact sport… You’ve gotta talk to a lot of people to achieve your goals.
I’ve learned a good number you can rely on… For every 50 conversations you have with people, you’ll create one closed transaction.
So now you need to apply that number to your goals.
One, life is short… Don’t wait for a wake-up call to start living and giving your all. You only get one go-round. Get clarity on what you want and get after it!
Call every potential lead and use this simple script:
“Are you still interested in buying or selling in 2021?”
Then just shut up and listen!
Your pipeline of opportunities is about to get super robust.
Forget buyers and devote everything toward getting enough listings in 2021 to achieve your goal. With buyers requiring so much time and effort only to face bidding wars on nearly every property, the idea here is to achieve greater control by focusing solely on listings.
If you’re not getting sufficient sleep, you’re only hurting yourself. You need 7-8 hours per night. Make sure you’re going to bed on time to get the rest you need to conquer the next day.
Everything is hard. Being in shape, not being in shape, having a loving marriage, having a bad marriage, building a thriving business, running it like a rollercoaster of no control and steady income business is hard. It’s all hard.
