We picked up this street dog with severe mange that left his skin cracked, bleeding, and oozing pus. This is painful, and gets progressively worse. We sent our team to catch him and bring him to our clinic.

Naamsap continues to be treated for a blood parasite at our Care Unit. Our staff massage and stretch her legs to increase mobility and she spends time each day in a trainer wheelchair to strengthen her muscles. A blood test is scheduled to see if her blood levels are improving.

Jaidee, with distemper in the brain, has moved to the Care Unit. Our staff are able to be with her 24/7 and give her the care she needs. She twitches constantly, an effect of having distemper in the brain, but is able to hold her head up, roll over, and eat on her own.

Jaidee, the dog found with distemper in the brain, is in our Care. She’s able to lift her head up, roll over, and is now spending time in a trainer wheelchair. This helps Jaidee build strength and confidence. Soon she will start hydrotherapy for exercise and improved mobility.

A truck driver brought us a puppy that he found at the garbage dump. It’s quite possible that he was thrown out in someones trash, survived the truck ride to the garbage dump, and when the truck was emptied he found himself all alone on a mountain trash.
His name is Benten.

While out vaccinating dogs, our team saw 5 puppies, all siblings, locked in two crates. They were malnourished and very thin. We brought them immediately to our clinic as they would have not survived much longer.

We rescued this dog that had her intestines hanging outside her stomach after being attacked by another dog.
We were able to locate and catch the dog who required immediate treatment. We brought her to the clinic. We’re hoping that we saved her in time.

A man showed up asking if a dog was recently dumped here. He used to feed Scooby when he was a puppy. Then he found a home for Scooby with two ladies, who later dumped him. He drove around for hours, finally finding our sanctuary and was reunited with Scooby.

❤️ Coke was a fighter. But the last months he found his overman: “chronic pancreatitis”
He lost the fight against it.
I adopted Coke from his previous owner after he got ran over by a motorcycle and broke his spine that left him paralyzed. He was only 5 months

Damm completed his 8th round of chemotherapy. The tumor has gotten much smaller but more chemotherapy is required to eliminate the cancer. His caretakers are maintaining his appointments and taking excellent care of him.

Y-Raai is still at the outside clinic we use for severe cases. Her reattached urethra is functioning properly. Y-Raai’s wounds need constant cleaning due to the amount of necrotic flesh that was removed. She’s eating and drinking on her own.

Puppies stuck in tar
A lady brought a puppy to our clinic that had been deeply trapped in tar at an abandoned quarry. She informed us that seven others had died while trapped in the tar but another puppy was alive, still stuck, and she could not get her out.

We were contacted by a longtime friend of TMTRD to vaccinate 28 dogs living at the Ang Sila Buddha Casting Foundry. 28 dogs are now vaccinated against rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and kennel cough. We’ll follow up with them in a year for their boosters.

Without a doubt he was dumped, abandoned by his “owners”
He was so hungry and thirsty that it obviously had been some time since he last had access to food and water.

R.I.P. Divo
We’re sad to bring the news that Divo has passed away. He was only with us for two months but we all fell in love with him. Divo received regular visits from his family and made many dog friends at TMTRD. In fact he was surrounded by them and our staff as he passed.
