Christians are not called to tithe; Christians are called to give. Yet still, many Christians teach that if you don’t give at least 10% of your earnings to the church, you’re “robbing God.” This is a HUGE mishandling of Scripture.

One thing you’ll notice throughout the Gospels is that Jesus seemed to be way tougher on religious hypocrisy than He was towards sinners who knew their need of saving.

The “you can’t be a Christian and…” statements are so dangerous because it implies that Christians are who they are because of perfect behavior, perfect theology, and/or perfect thinking. Truth is, there are many confused yet truly saved Christians.

We have a worship that the angels can’t relate too. For the angels will never be able to relate personally to God as Savior because they don’t know firsthand the need of salvation. That’s why although they sing beautiful songs to God endlessly, our worship is His favorite.

Christians who aren’t afraid to die, take away Satan’s best card to play. When you stop fearing death, Satan literally loses every hold over you. This is the glory of the New Covenant. That death has lost its sting because its been swallowed up in victory.
