They steal the information and then sell it in blocks to criminals on the dark web. Those criminals are the ones sending you clickbait through emails and texts to get at your passwords and other information, like on bank accounts. Once they have that, they have all your info to empty your bank accounts or investments. The best thing you can do is lock down your credit. Lock down your debit cards. Unlock them when you need to. Use a credit monitoring company like LifeLock. There are a lot of advantages. Don’t just do nothing. Criminals are counting on that. Also, apply for a pin for your taxes so no one can file a fake return in your name.

@wendyp4545 Absolutely, certain states and counties monitor google earth to see if you’ve put up sheds, fences, pools so they can fine you if they check their databases for permits and don’t find them.
