@gatoscurseados The thing is other groups in game also do "morally grey" things but ppl only focus on fatui because of Hyv. I don't think they're consistent with them & most of fandom doesn't even know what they want. Ppl want "just evil" characters & complain when we get not evil fatui.

@gatoscurseados For me I don't talk about Hyv characters without the knowledge of them having to sell first & foremost because this is Hyv has been lately. It's a gacha & they make sure you know it. Every choice with playables now is made for profit first, then story.

Ppl acting like Dottore has no reason to be disliked & you're a baby when his fans are out there talking about him r*ping Arle & acting like him killing a woman has nothing to do with real life.

Actually why I'm just so over the whole "morally grey" obsession when it crosses into this.

Fandom literally associates good & evil with bedroom positions which is why these ppl get so crazy about it. A character getting interiority is a threat because only the bottom should have that. It's not different from most ppl's conception of men & women.

How does he not think about his siblings being in danger? Why does he stay in the fatui when that makes them more in danger? Does he believe it will be better if he stays there? Too much mystery actually makes him a worse character, not a better one.

@sky_narwhal Idt Hyv cares for Childe much either, they just know they can make some money from yumes who want to date him, which is why his subpar writing gets praised as so good only because he's the only guy who fits a certain trope in the game.

It's why grey morality in Genshin fandom is a joke. No one actually wants that for their fave, the only character who can be that is Childe & only because they assume being morally grey is abusive or a sign someone is a freak in bed. That's why moral greyness is only for men.
