Lol if you're here for my ass, you gotta deal with the purpose of my account too which is to share my passions for horror, cinema, storytelling, and art. I don't have an OF. I just like to be a lil show-off on occasion.
Happy Halloween 🎃💕

Just walked out of the theater and this movie was qualityyy. I don't mind a slow burn, but it definitely is a little slow paced at times. Some gorgeous kills. An interesting concept. It was vibey, I'm so glad I finally got to see it.
My cozy little futon and sleepy dog waiting for me to change out of my work clothes and curl up with a snack to play some Fallout 3. Been thinkin about bringing justice to Tenpenny all day long.
Home, at last. After a glass of wine to perk me up, I'll cook a chicken pot pie with the crust I prepared last night and throw on a comfort movie- the 1963 The Raven, if you care to know

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 (2017)
Thank you, everyone, for all the great suggestions last night. I have a long list of sci-fi horror for this rainy weekend, let's start with this one~
In the first age, in the first battle, when the shadows first lengthened, one stood…

A short thread of some photos I took today at Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, VA~ one of my favorite places to go exist among the formerly existent. Right now the clover and buttercups are in full bloom, a floral sweetness lingers in the air.

𝘗𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 (1988)
Comfort creature-feature, Halloween cozy vibes, it's a masterpiece and anybody who says otherwise is just dead wrong. 🎃
🎃🧡 I want to go on a silly little date to a pumpkin patch in my cute dress and do the haunted hayride, have a dumb little picnic and get drunk on rum and tell eachother ghost stories as night falls and eventually go home to watch a slasher film and makeout on the couch and~
I love the contrast between these two
Can you guess which one is just a little guy who simply wants the pain to stop and which one seeks mass destruction
when I tell a horror savant that I love and collect horror, 9 times out of 10 they will try to test my horror knowledge and I have to be like "listen I'm also a heavy stoner,,,"
I've decided I'm gonna pour myself some peated scotch and cook up some birria quesatacos & consome (that's right ladies, I cook hella food)~
It's a Twin Peaks kinda day today, gloomy, wet, cold. My favorite ✨️
Big chillin', it's nice and cold outside but warm in here. Gonna make green chili enchiladas and put on a horror film, we're going classic today. The Wolf Man~ 🌙🖤

𝘊𝘰𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 (2013)
Picking through my list, here's another one I've yet to see. Many of you told me to check out this sci-fi psychological thriller, so here we go. The popcorn is popped and the blunt is rolled~
Incredibly unique and innovative cinematography that truly immersed me from start to finish. I LOVE this remake. Disturbing, a visceral intensity, I felt disoriented after seeing this movie the first time. I'll never forget that impression, it excited me.
If you go into a horror movie like "this has to figure out a way to scare me or it's dumb" then that's your first problem. That's one reason why you find it hard to enjoy horror. You have to buy into ittt. Have funnnn. Let yourself feel like a child again.
I work at a garden and landscaping center and we've been getting some gorgeous plants in~ this Campfire Coleus is giving Halloween goodness in the late spring. Look at those colors ! 💜🎃💜
Jurassic Park, The Fly, Pan's Labyrinth, Brom Stoker's Dracula, Shaun of the Dead, Trick-or-Treat, Halloween: Season of the Witch, Addams Family (1991), 28 Weeks Later, Saw (2004), Army of Darkness, and Hocus Pocus~ just to name a few

𝘗𝘶𝘭𝘴𝘦 (2001)
One of the very first Japanese horror films I ever watched, this movie genuinely terrified me as a child. I'm excited to revisit this trauma.
Bloody Disgusting is excited to let you know that makeup effects legend Tom Savini (

I'm a slut for sci-fi horror and these are two of my absolute favorites. Craving more than what is human, lead by greed, digging too deep into the unknown. Gruesome, horny, deliciously campy sfx from the 80's~ mmmm
