Just noticed #280characters and I hate it. Very difficult to write a clear interesting post when not limited like before.

My io #gamedev workflow is super iterative. I deploy a change, play with others for a while, tweak and redeploy. Improvements in retention are easy to notice. Very fun to get instant feedback from other players like this.

Well, took out my phone, checked it out over ssh, realized it's not a problem after all. Back to relaxation.

My game LAVA.IO was published on while I'm on a trip without a pc. Of course realized a backend bug during sleep.

@Newgrounds I found the checkbox (great that it exists!) but it doesn't work at least with preview. It still opens the page with https and won't work.

#newgrounds is now using https so my WebSockets stopped working because they connect to a http server :(
