Congratulations to Hashtag United on winning the First Division South title last night and promotion to Step 5 football. They've been a credit to the league in their first season in the non league pyramid.
The new league season will commence on Saturday 31 July 2021.
In view of the possibility of Covid-19 disruptions it is planned to front load the season with fixtures, scheduling half of them before November. The League Cups will not commence before January at the earliest.

The FA Leagues Committee have confirmed that they have received clarification from DCMS that spectators can continue to attend step 3 and below matches at current levels. This includes the Thurlow Nunn League
It can now be confirmed that the 2020/21 Thurlow Nunn League season will begin on Sat 5th September
Premier Division September fixtures will be released later this evening. Some outstanding issues need to be sorted before early fixtures for the other divisions can be be released
Congratulations to Histon FC - Thurlow Nunn League Champions for 2018/19. They have clinched the title by winning 3-0 at Wroxham and have won the title with 5 games remaining. They have lost just twice (at Long Melford and Woodbridge Town) and conceded only 29 goals
Once the FA draws are released later today the League Fixture Secretary will forsake the sunshine and disappear into a darkened room with sharpened pencils, a rubber and some good ales. He will hopefully emerge in the middle of next week with some fixtures - and a headache!
Following the current suspension of football TNL fixtures will now carry on until 15 May. Currently last fixtures are scheduled to 24 April.
Clubs have been given the option of starting League games again on 5 December, or to use the first week for a friendly and/or training.
The League would like to say thank you to all the volunteers, players and match officials this afternoon. Despite Covid, fuel issues and horrendous weather all matches in the Premier and First Divisions were completed.
Congratulations to Benfleet whose 1-0 victory at Brimsdown today took them to 100 points and clinched the 2023/24 First Division South title.
Benfleet have played in each First Division South season since the division was formed in 2018/19, but next season will be at Step 5
The provisional date for the restart of Step 5/6 is Sat 5th Sept, although the FA intends that matches will not be permitted until crowds are allowed back into stadia.
The League has received no amendments to the restart dates and as such continues to work towards 5th Sept.
Congratulations to Ipswich Wanderers who are 2022/23 Thurlow Nunn League Champions following Thetford Town’s 2-0 defeat at Norwich United.
Thetford are runners-up and will be away in a play-off match on 29th April to see if they can join Ipswich Wanderers at Step 4 next season.

Hashtag United recorded their 10th successive win, beating Braintree Town Res 4-0. They now need just 1 point from their remaining two matches to be the first ever winners of the First Division South title. 2nd placed Halstead Town had a key 3-2 victory at 3rd placed White Ensign
Congratulations to Mildenhall Town who became 2023/24 League Champions after winning 1-0 at Lakenheath this afternoon. They have taken the title with four matches still to play.
It is the second time Mildenhall have been Champions and they will be competing at Step 4 next season

Following today's announcement from the FA of FA Cup Round Dates it can now be confirmed that the Thurlow Nunn League Premier and First Divisions for 2023/24 will commence on Saturday 29th July
26 Thurlow Nunn League teams have been accepted into the FA Cup. They are the 20 Premier Division teams, plus First Division Benfleet, Diss Town, Framlingham Town, Halstead Town, Ipswich Wanderers and Little Oakley. It will be Benfleet and Little Oakley’s debut in the competition
Despite losing 5 Saturdays and 4 midweeks at the start of the season; waterlogged pitches; abandoned matches; Covid-19 postponements; and the intrusion of outside cup competitions, almost 25% of 2020/21 Thurlow Nunn League fixtures have been completed. Just 857 matches to go.
Biggest TNL crowd of the season (833) flocked to the Millbank Stadium to see 2nd placed Halstead Town entertain FDS leaders Hashtag United. A stunning first half free kick by Tom Williams sealed a key 1-0 win for the visitors in a match superbly organised by Halstead
The FA have confirmed that 'sin bins' are to be introduced at Step 5 and Step 6 next season. Sin Bins will therefore be included in the rules for all divisions under the Thurlow Nunn League umbrella.
The Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League is very proud of both Wroxham and Stowmarket Town for their FA Vase exploits, watched by a crowd this afternoon of 1,041. It's a shame both teams can't go through to the quarter finals.

Fixtures for the first couple of weeks of the season should be available for the three senior divisions early next week, followed a few days later by a complete season list for the Premier Division.
The League is pleased to announce that Histon will be presented with the famous Championship Trophy on Saturday 13 April, when they are at home to Hadleigh United
The League has taken the decision to cancel all matches on 27 December. We regard this as a responsible course of action and one that eliminates pre-Christmas uncertainty

The League Management Committee has decided that, owing to a shortened season and continued uncertainty around Covid-19, the League Cups – the League Challenge Cup, First Division KO Cup and Chell Trophy – will not be played this season.
Congratulations to Walsham Le Willows Reserves who clinched the Thurlow Nunn Reserve League last night by beating second placed Hadleigh United 5-1.
It is the first time Walsham have won the Reserve League.

2019/20 Thurlow Nunn League season will start on the Saturday before the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup. FA have yet to announce date but likely to be 10 August, so we probably start on 3 August

At end of season the top club in each Step 6 league, including the TNL First Divisions, will be promoted to a Step 5 league, given correct ground grading and not a reserve team. Some 2nd placed teams wil be promoted, decided on a points per game basis across all Step 6 leagues.
Wroxham and Stowmarket Town are through to the last 16 of the FA Vase after impressive wins.
Wroxham overcame a 1-0 half time deficit in Derbyshire to beat South Normanton Athletic 3-1 while Stowmarket were 3-0 winners at home to Glebe. A record 510 crowd were at Greens Meadow.

The FA has agreed to the League’s request on behalf of Ipswich Wanderers that they be moved from First Division North to First Division South for season 2021/22.
Debut club Harleston Town have led FD North since the end of August and play their final league match of the season on Monday, away to Cornard United. Only Swaffham Town can now deprive them of the title and the Pedlars face a tricky test at third placed Mulbarton Wanderers
