most of the intimacy scenes btw couples were improve… the other actors actively *try* with their characters. rudy couldn’t even film kiss scenes properly, a chamber scene that had proper eye contact + hand holding… i fear sex scenes w madison would have him & e self combusting.
Tell me why jarah and cleope got a sex scene and Jiara didn’t ….

obx was never that serious, & i lol at the pates 4 thinking it was. writing these trashy faux-complex hypervillians. while destroying jj’s character for a deathtrope… trying to make it believable enough 2 where it’d be a logical storyline? we didn’t come 2 THIS show, 4 THAT.
OBX should’ve just stayed light and silly with villains similar to S1 and S2. There was no need to turn it into………. this……. .

unfortunately, that is what makes it so obvious, none of the characters acted like themselves, bc the actors playing them were unhappy, and the writers writing them were too… i’m not saying believe obxanon blinding, duh, but it makes more sense than it doesn’t atp. sad to see.
the chemistry and overall vibe change from part 1 to part 2 was so aggressive i thought i was going crazy. that did not look like the same show let alone the same season, it's all adding up now.

her having trauma of losing him SO CRUELLY… realistically as much as she wants revenge, there’s an equally valid reason for Kie to resent everyone. now that she’s lost her love + the others find strength in love. trust the pates’ll just ignore the full emotional implications.
I just know when kie sees john b and Sarah like this now knowing she can’t ever be that close to Jj anymore it’s gonna kill her slowly … idk how she’s ever gonna be able to be with the pogues again .
