American McGee's Alice (2000) is such a unique shooter experience. Judging from screenshots you wouldn't even believe it's a Quake Engine game. Everything about it feels so unique and outside-the-box, which fits the psychedelic narrative beautifully. Highly recommended

Not sure, but I think the vast majority of the community doesn't care. Look at the lazy recolored skins they're happily buying. I think you have to be creative yourself to truly understand the implications and care.
