@Carl_Nwakakwa At least they don’t use AI (if you remember what DW used AI twice for Dog Man marketing). The standout Illumination films are the first two Despicable Me films, The Rise of Gru, both Sing films, Migration, and the Mario Movie. Hopefully, the next Mario Movie surprises us.

@MiguelArtwork16 If this is DreamWorks only live action remake, then it’s a good thing. At least Illumination isn’t doing live action remakes on their films, as Chris Renaud has stated.

@Carl_Nwakakwa At least Illumination does respect both their workers and animation. And they’re against AI and don’t use them. And their films are peaks and valleys, and their CEO cares about animation, hence why he sometimes helps at Dreamworks.
