My first PhD student, Songyue Liu, has published her first paper in @MacroJrnls_ACS. Her new reactive coarse-grained model enables us to study the phase-behavior and nonlinear flow of associative polymers that form precisely coordinated assoc. complexes.

@AbhiS_Case @AlexanderRKlotz @PoornimaDrP Yup, but companies like paying someone else to be responsible for the technology and whether it works correctly.

@AbhiS_Case @AlexanderRKlotz @PoornimaDrP Industrial sensibility. Companys might prefer using purchased tools like MatLab that are supported by a vendor that can be held at fault for defects in the tool. If a company uses an open-source tool like python, they take on responsibility for python working as intended.

@PolymerPolymath The trick is to leave strategic layers in the auditorium to save your seat. A fleece, a hoodie, swag from another conference. Then you've got all your bases covered.
