The @BristolCity players will be wearing black armbands today in memory of 16-year-old Luke Wheaton and the other victims of the Avonmouth tragedy. Luke and his father Matt were Bristol City Season Card holders with a shirt placed on his seat in the Section 82 singing section.

Our medical staff have confirmed that the Hatters captain suffered cardiac arrest on the pitch, but was responsive by the time he was taken off on the stretcher. He received further treatment inside the stadium, for which we once again thank the medical teams from both sides.
