I have been raised around sports my entire life, whether as a player, reporter, college play-by-play announcer for ESPN+, or fan. I never thought that in 2022 these opinions would still be made. I thought we’d made progress, but here we are.
Women belong in sports, whether that's on the sidelines as a reporter or in the stands as a fan. We face adversity every day because of our gender, yet continuously overcome the systemic obstacles in our way. I am proud to be part of this fanbase alongside so many strong women.
