Watching the Martha Stewart documentary, I came away thinking she is a savvy businesswoman who would gladly slit an underlings throat if it helped her get ahead. And we knew this already, but James Comey was so self-righteous.

🧵I saw an Aboriginal aunty busking in Newtown last night. She plays the saxophone & it was special. I listened for 20mins, dropped $50 into her case & said "You remind me of Marlene Cummings, the great blues & Jazz artist from way back." She looked up, crying: "I am Marlene."

Many comments on this post boil down to "when men become as admirable as Vance, we'll adore them". That was the opposite of what I was thinking- Usha loved J.D. when they were students with nothing. Her support helped him become who he is today, but she loved him from day one.

Who is president hasn't affected my life much in the last 16 years. I know that's not true for everyone, but I think it is true for most Americans. And I also think it is evidence the U.S. has a good system of government.
