RT @DoesItPlay1: There are reports of PSN services slowly coming back to life for some. Now would be a good time to let Sony/PS support knoโฆ

@Toadsanime If you have a PS5 with a detachable drive, you might never have moments like when you drag your old Nintendo 64 out of the attic and reminisce. If the disc drive fails after the servers are offline, it'll be an unrepairable brick.

@Keeganator08 @Troydan I just dislike conjecture/fear-mongering on social media and wanted to remind people that while it *could* be a cyber attack, it could also just be an intern who unplugged the wrong cable. Your tone is a lot nastier than mine was.

@bearded_blerdd1 @Troydan I donโt, thatโs the point. Until Sony says something or some other proof emerges this is just speculation.

@DoesItPlay1 Given where Microsoft have gone with their PC software, just wait until your console dashboard is a glorifed web browser and is effectively useless unless you're online...

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more respect I have for Sports Interactive and Sega for cancelling Football Manager 2025. Some of the comms could have been handled better, but there are many companies that would release a broken game for the sales. #FM25

@Terrythepin @FootballManager Honestly have a lot of respect for them for canning it. A lot of companies would have pushed it out regardless of quality for the sales.

@lordofthedarts1 Yes - there are a lot of companies (EA included) that would have just released the game anyway, regardless of its quality. If it really is in such a bad state, cancellation is probably the right call.

@_R3w1nd_ Even if it did release, it's not as though they would run out of copies of a downloadable product anyway! I never understand preorders these days.

@LagerTyke @FootballManager As long as this doesn't mark the move to the rumoured subscription model... ๐ฌ

@_cryptomoron @SteveSmithG @nocontextfm1 Yep - there are a lot of companies that would have done so.
