One year in the Netherlands today 🎊.
It’s been an amazing journey with God at the center of it all. I’ve met so many amazing people and seen lots of beautiful places in this one year. Going to share a full recap article soon
Finally finished reading the entire Bible 💃💃. It took me a year and almost 2 months but I did it! So many things I didn't know that I now do and there's still more to discover. Definitely doing it again.
After 3 plus years of managing/solving payment problems for some of our biggest merchants at Paystack, I'm glad to announce that I have fully transitioned into the role of a Data Analyst.
Anyone who knows me, knows I'm very passionate about data. I'm very excited about this 🎉
Officially 3 years at Paystack! It's been such an incredible journey. Joining the company is still hands down one of the best decisions I've made in my life 🎉
I successfully completed a Data Science and Business Analytics program after 8 long months. Schooling while starting a new job and relocating to a new country was super hard but I somehow did it! Super proud of myself honestly! 🎉❤️
People underestimate the value of peer mentorship. You’ll grow faster when you learn with your peers. That senior mentor that you’re looking for might not really be able to help you
Learning about payments in Gambia. It’s so interesting. It’s cash only here. An average Gambian does not have a credit/debit card. They usually have to walk into a bank to deposit money and there’s a book the bank gives them to monitor their transactions.
I’m looking to do more speaking engagements this year. I’m passionate about conversations related to SQL, Data Analysis, Customer Success, Key Account Management, Writing, Training people and also being a woman in tech. Please forward any opportunities you find my way 🙏
I have a supernatural advantage. I excel by the Spirit of God. It is impossible for me to be disadvantaged. I have confidence in the word of God. I do not fear because I put my trust in God.
I’m looking for a new personal assistant. I’ll share more details on responsibilities and requirements later. You can send me a dm if this is something you’re interested in. Who knows, maybe I’ll find a great person without going through the whole hiring process.
Met the beautiful
@Mochievous
and she's even more amazing in person. Thank you for organizing this meetup Modupe(just discovered this is her name). I had such a great time and learnt a lot from everyone❤️
Moving abroad will really challenge your faith as a believer. I’ve had to rediscover myself and understand why I believe what I believe in. It’s something I never saw coming and it’s still a journey if I’m being honest
Today is the birthday of the man who woke up this morning to start cleaning cobwebs around the house. The man who always put his family first. My amazing, forever young dad❤️. Because of you, I have grown into this confident woman everyone is seeing. I love you dad ❤️
It's been a long time coming! We are glad to officially launch our new amazing community- The SQL Tribe.
The SQL Tribe is a community for SQL enthusiasts and professionals to network, learn and grow.
Moderated a panel session on inclusion in tech at my company’s tech event ✨. It was engaging, vulnerable and very fun. Looking forward to doing more of this ❤️
Something dropped in my spirit this morning. God really does love a cheerful giver. There are some miracles you can only access by giving. Now this giving is not specifically to a church, it can be to anyone around you in need. Anyways just thought to share.
I had the chance to guide over 200 people on creating a digital vision board with
@themoneyafrica
. Thanks to the team for having me and shout out to all the amazing people who created and shared their plans for the year ❤️
Life is so strange. Some people are living in fear while others are celebrating/happy. Unfortunately we can’t tell people to put their lives on hold because of what’s going on
Totally agree. Also your life is so much easier when you’re not constantly suspecting people of having bad intentions towards you. It can seem naive but I’ll rather live like that than constantly looking out for it
i’ve noticed people who have happy lives/relationships tend to be really generous when it comes to interpreting people’s intentions.
when i think about it, a lot of the little hurts we experience on a daily basis actually come from the story we tell ourselves after
