Ladies, I urge you to uninstall Rapido app and PLEASE do not get into autos or taxis if the license plate doesn’t match.
The stories I’ve been reading are absolutely horrific and scary.
I live in a Tier 3 city of India.
My clients are based in SF, Vancouver, London and Bangalore.
I have friends based in the remotest part of the world.
In this decade, your location will have nothing to do with how successful or known you are.
In March, I made a risky decision.
To choose badminton over work.
I decided that for 30 days, I'll prioritise play over work and let's where it gets me.
2 things have happened since:
My dad just dropped this wisdom bomb:
“The only reason life tests you is to see if you’re ready for bigger things. If you can take the pressure that comes with being ambitious.”
This guy should write a book.
17k happens & I’ll send:
- 4 people their choice of book
- 2 people their choice of e-book/audiobook
6 total winners! 🍾✨
Just comment what you want & RT for good karma :)
I am a one-woman army.
I manage my business all by myself - from marketing myself to managing my team and finances to ensuring my creativity is on point even on days when I run out of it.
It is pure hardwork & commitment to the craft.
Freelancing is entrepreneurship.
I built a sustainable freelancing business in exactly 8 months.
I wanted to share how I did that.
This is a master thread on getting your first client online. 🧵
It’s my dad’s 62nd birthday today.
He’s a lawyer and has won probably a thousand cases.
My life changed the day he came home at 9:00 pm and told me,
“I am so exhausted. I’ve been standing since 10 hours. I cleared 30 cases today.”
The world doesn’t reward its bravest
Reaaaaally wanna build a dating app for nerds. You get matched by solving puzzles, deconstructing Shakespeare, arithmetic problems or geeking out over string theory.

if you notice, the so called “hot girl mannerism” are mostly having an open body language — which is expressive, relatable and triggers the limbic system.
a closed body language will make a good looking person instantly unattractive (case for the comedian)
I don’t think any paragraph ever will come close to hitting as hard as this:
“Anyone looks like a genius when they’re in a good position and even the smartest person looks like an idiot when they are in a bad one.”
“Time is the friend of someone who is properly positioned and
Jeff Bezos once said, "Don't satisfy your customers, figure out how to absolutely delight them. That is the number one thing no matter who your customers are."
2 lessons:
As a freelancer you need to make your client's life easier. As a writer you need to delight your readers.
- I'm addicted to badminton. I crave it. And it gives me an immense sense of fulfilment.
- I've started re-thinking my career journey. I'm shifting gears a bit. I'm hungry, for different things. For learning, for more challenging projects.

umm. I’d actually remove this tweet because this is in no way backed by any data.
the naunces are too many.
most men also gain significant weight after marriage and having kids.
Send that message.
End that fight.
Buy that book.
Take that course.
Start that business.
Post that picture.
Ask that question.
Write that poem.
Say those 3 words.
Leave that job.
Kill that friendship.
Own your life.
When I broke the flow of daily long working hours, and put something above work, I realised how much breathing space I needed. Trust me, it's not easy to accept this (esp my giant ego doesn't like being wrong!).
My 1-year statistics:
- 25k followers on LinkedIn in 12 mo
- 12.8k followers on Twitter in 8 mo
- 20+ clients across the world

Here's what I've learned about growing on social media:
A list of things I’ve built in the past 3 years:
• Saturn Studios (a content agency)
•
@ThePhysicsClub
• Career Radio (podcast on unconventional careers)
• HerStage (started as a database of women panelists, now pivoted to a community for ambitious women)
• 10+ IPs for
Nobody will remember:
- Your grades
- Your job title
- Your follower count
- Your brand's valuation
People will remember:
- What you made them feel
- How you helped or neglected them
- Your character and kindness
- The time you spent with them
Choose your priorities.
i rarely talk about the heartbreak of not getting into medical school. even after 4 years, something is still broken inside.
it’s really hard to refigure who you are and try to dream again.
no motivation here. just still grieving over it i guess.
Some of the most knowledgeable people don’t get the deserved traction on Twitter.
It saddens me to say that most of them have either left or are just quiet.
Their ‘experience-based’ content cannot compete with the engagement mediocre curated content gets.
It’s a tragedy.
Umm. Excuse me. This is a v proud moment for me. 🥺
I’m hosting a sweet 33rd Anniversary Party for my parents tomorrow.
2 years ago thought my life was done. Now we’re here. I made myself capable enough to be able to do this.
And the thing is, I’m just getting started. 😉
My mother said to me yesterday —
“When you move ahead so fast, people will try anything to slow you down. They will trash talk about you, they will envy you …
The funny thing is, they can’t touch you because you’re so insistent on making the most out of your journey.”

I never knew I would love speaking until I did it. I never knew I would love writing until I did it. I never knew I would love creating content until I did it.
