@flying_rodent Starmer's replacement will be their last gasp attempt to retain power. It won't work, but will be incredibly damaging as they flail around. I don't expect them to last longer than a Starmer promise. The PM after that will lead labour into an election if it isn't called early.

It might be repellent, and truly hard to stomach, but he's not wrong. There's only one meaningful difference here between 2 groups resisting armed encroachment from an overwhelmingly powerful neighbour. They're just as human as each other, and just as much as me.
As someone who grew up in & was involved in the struggle against apartheid in South Africa, let me give another name to the UK welcoming Ukrainians but shutting out Palestinians: racist white supremacy. And that my MP Keir Starmer is proudly leading this racism is repulsive. A former human rights lawyer who has lost any shred of humanity. The people of Holborn & St. Pancras, the people of Britain, & the people of the world deserve better

@flying_rodent Not a chance of it. They'll be jockeying to take his place, & he himself will be one of the targets in that fight, now that he's away from Westminster. He's deliberately made himself a small fish in a big & unfamiliar pond where he lacks the same level of protection. He's goosed.
