There's not even 1/3 of the amount of kickers in the league. The kickers that exist are starters. The weight of 2nd and 3rd string RBs changes the bell curve dramatically eschew to the left. Compare only RB1 and then it'll be a better comparison I imagine.

Just did the math: the top 32 RBs are paid about 160m, divided by 32 = $5m average RB1 Salary.
