Players: When talking or messaging with a coach, it's very important to be professional. You have to remember they are not one of your friends. You should say, "Yes" & not, "Yeah." Never call them, "bro" or "man." Use capitalization & correct punctuation. I'm sure some don't think it's a big deal, but proper diction indicates knowledge & respect. Another easy way to stand out from the crowd. Always refer to them as "coach, sir or mam" until they tell you otherwise. Make sure to always shake hands firmly, make eye contact at all times, & stand tall. Trust me, these things go a long way in the recruiting process. It could be the difference whether you get an opportunity or not! Remember, you are a walking billboard for how you want to be viewed. Represent yourself in a good light. When you do these simple little things, you will be remembered! 🤝🏻
