@JamesSurowiecki Look up how many people were killed in the illegal invasion of Iraq. How many soldiers killed and maimed. Look up the aftermath. Then look up the excuse for the invasion. How many normal people do you think are capable of that?

Why do we spend nearly a trillion dollars a year for national security and when the 2nd largest city in the country is being decimated there is this bare minimum level of support. Hundreds of fire fighters? We are a country of 334 Million. Surely we can do a lot better than that. The fires are not contained. So send in everything needed to contain it. Why are our major cities not receiving billions to adapt to climate crisis? Why are we not declaring a climate emergency? How bad does it need to get?

Trillions of dollars spend on foreign wars while we've known our energy policy is the most devestating threat to our major cities. No preparations. No battle plans. No adapatation. Just billions in bombs and cuts to our fire department.
