@beca_yvan Agree but I think the seed of opposition to the mavericks & individual talent comes from city experience and there culture of no superstars plus his Ozil exp & days under Wenger watching how individual talent created imbalanced teams. Mikel defo went OTT with it & its costed him

@dg14s @MiguelDelaney It’s fair you share such an optimistic view. But the framing is not only fanciful but naive. AFC to win the league in this form without saka & win the UCL or overturn the Newc tie is unlikely if we are being honest. I hope MA delivers but AFC success shouldn’t be tied to him.

@dg14s @MiguelDelaney Yes because winning is the end goal. The domestic defeats reflect worse because they were the main priority after blowing the league. A process has a means to an end and the end which even he embarked on was delivering on trophies. After YR 5 your ok in year 6 and 7 trophy-less?

@MiguelDelaney 1 FA Cup in 5 years gets any manager sacked at any other club. It’s a results business and he’s blown 2 trophies in a week in year five. Managers have gone for less. At what point, if ever, does his position become untenable? If you don’t win trophies at AFC he stays why?

@louorns @htomufc Yes. Now for sure yes, but I think Gnev had a run and is no longer that inspired as he once was. He changed football analysis for the better during 2012 - when first introduced onto MNF. All U see now is What Neville done a decade ago. His analysis was once equally as excellent

@half_turn The narrative of ode & Rodri-less AFC/CITY highlights the importance of the players but the failure of both managers to have such quality completely filtered through 1 single player. The players importance is an over reliance caused by managers overly dependant on system players.

@kimmoFC Brace yourselves Arsenal fans. This is the one to commit all your emotions too. It’s one of those types of players where you wish them to be a part of any success the club has.

@SamJDean He’s positioning in the pockets is a joy. I wrote about him earlier in the year and I have to dedicate a video to him. Truly the new hope in the long list of Arsenal prodigies
