Thank you all so much for the kind words of support! More on what’s next here soon!
I have made the difficult decision to step away from fantasy football content creation… As you may know, my family has gone through an incredibly difficult year. In fact, a year ago tomorrow is when my wife FaceTimed me while I was on the floor of Radio Row in Las Vegas working leading up to Super Bowl 58 to tell me that she just had done a pregnancy test and it was positive. The next several months led us into a period of grief, anxiety, and anticipation as we weren’t sure if our daughter was going to make it to delivery…and if she did, how long we would have with her. 80 days in the NICU, 10 days at home, and then another month-long PICU stay later and Payton is doing incredibly well at home and our life has been forever changed. As we now adjust to what life looks like with three kids, one of whom is a medically-complex child with a Trach & G-Tube, I’m finding that there are only so many hours in the day. Being a fantasy football analyst entails constantly staying up to date with the latest news, rosters, and so much more…and I quite simply don’t have the capacity to keep up with everything anymore. And I’m a firm believer in not half-assing anything. That’s why I believe it’s time for me to step into the next chapter of my career and step into other ventures. I’ve got some exciting things planned with content that will center around parenting, leadership, life, etc. and I can’t wait to share those with you, so stick around! In the meantime, I’m thankful for the platform you all have given me to share my thoughts in this arena. I’ve met some incredible people and made some incredible memories (miss you, Tags) and I appreciate you all so much. Keep on dominating your leagues! Yates
