Today makes it 4 months we've been on ASUU Strike. I've gotten to the point where I'm not so bothered about the strike anymore.
I've cried, prayed, been disappointed and so on. At this point when they call it off we'll resume. I'm not holding my breath on it anymore.

There's this tradition my mom has maintained for the past 20+ years.
Every Birthday is celebrated in the house, especially for my siblings and I, no matter how tough things gets at home or how busy she is.
She'd cook jollof rice and chicken and Dad would buy a pack of Pepsi.

Handcraft is so beautiful and nice. I sometimes envy those who have the skill because I can’t do any. My mom forced me to learn hairdressing when I was waiting for my Junior Waec result. I wanted to do computer training but she refused.

I was proud of myself because I felt like I had my way and won. Looking back now, I’m grateful that they indulged me and paid the extra fees for me to go back to secondary school so that I can have a future and go to school as a happy child. I hope to be that parent someday.
