All schools by default are secular. The question here isn't about accommodating religious practice, we are talking about actively preventing people in their free time from worship. State funded schools, shouldn't be free to discriminate against tax payers religions.

Except there is no proof that khul is disliked for women except a weak hadith which mentions a woman asking for divorce for no reason (I'm paraphrasing). Not to mention a woman can issue divorce if it's stipulated in the marriage contract according to a minority of the jurists.

Secularism in Britain and America, unlike France, is the state not interfering in religion as opposed to trying to stamp out public displays of religion. This is a state funded school, funded by the tax payer, they shouldn't be free to impose their religious views.

Its not even accurate. The case was not one of rape as in forced sex, the child consented but was underage (so statutory rape). Also not an immigrant. If there is a problem here, it is the discretion judges can legally use, get rid of the discretion and you'll have another issue.

Would be kind of odd for the Quran to just contain stories that are most probably fiction. It's the same issue with dhul qarnain, 7 sleepers, story of khidr, all indicate the Quran is not from God but with enough mental gymnastics you can side step the issues.

Marriage with the intent of divorce is allowed in all 4 sunni school. Al shafi literally goes on a tangent defending it. A very small minority objected to it and their argument was bad. It's only in modern times this opinion that it's akin to muta has resurfaced..
