I could be defending my dissertation proposal this summer, but it didn’t work out. I was frustrated for a lil bit. But, I decided to turn that frustration into being thankful that I have some breathing room before everything kicks back up. Delayed, not denied.

I’m writing chapter 3 of my proposal and I’m so proud of the way I structured it so far. Before I discussed methodology, I reflected on the ethical dilemmas I have when researching Black women’s online engagement + my backing of BFT/E. It reads like a journal. Sacred, intimate.
