the team already had 5 hits. she fucked up her acro series and knew this score was dropping anyway. she said alright fuck it and threw the biggest slay an ncaa team final has ever seen
hey
@timdaggettnbc
Vladislava Urazova was only 3 tenths away from getting on the podium, and only 5 tenths away from winning the meet. Her dream was extremely valid. Think more before you speak.
rewatching olympic trials videos i took and simone's height on her triple double is seriously mind-boggling. watching it in person literally took my breath away
i gotta say i'm devastated for OU. it really sucks that they had the best season a team has ever had in NCAA history just for tonight's performance to end their season. they really should be so proud of themselves
When we see Simone compete, we're witnessing unmatched power and grace.
Not only is she the first in history to hold all eight U.S. gymnastics titles, but she's a trailblazer who spoke up for those who couldn't speak for themselves.
You represent the best of America.
"bars was the only reason gabby was put on the team" ummm are you forgetting she qualified 3rd into the aa final?? it could've gone either way between her and aly
If Selena being dismissed due to not following team rules and helping create a positive environment is true, I actually really commend UCLA for holding their ground and showing that their rules apply to everyone, even if you’re the gymnast who contributes the most to the team
Ladies and gentlemen … HER.
@selena_harriss
tied the
@pac12
championship record with a 39.825 all-around score and also won vault (9.975) and bars (9.95)!

Shilese has every right to be pissed. As far as I know, tom has yet to give an explanation as to why only 4 alternates were named instead of 5, and Shi woulda been alternate 5 if they kept going off of AA ranking
suni bb if you go to Baku and fall on the jaeger full, just try it again! just keep trying till you hit it! everyone is lucky to just breathe the same air as you actually! nobody can stop you
well trinity😭 if you're done with ncaa, you have been a legend of your own. an incredible season with 12 tens, with 7(!) of them being on floor! you will be missed so dearly 💝
I love how he feels empowered to do this + say all of it afterward, and doesn’t feel like he needs to keep it inside. He’s heartbroken about what happened, and should be able to say that without reprimand. Athletes should get to experience all emotions too!
from Shane’s IG/Threads: a summary of his Trials experience and why he wasn’t present at the celebrations last night
I’ve often felt we ask too much of our alternates to be present so publicly after such a crushing disappointment, this just confirms that thought for me.
I love how all 3 Filipina qualifiers got to Paris through different methods. Aleah with Worlds, Levi with World Cup series, and Emma with continental champs. Really shows how many different opportunities you can have to get to the Olympics
2021: national champion
2022: eliminated in national semifinal
2023: eliminated in regional final on a tie break
2024: eliminated in regional semifinal (and at home)
michigan is going through it i honestly feel so bad😭
I'm willing to say that Chae is the best dancer and floor performer that NCAA gymnastics has ever seen in its history.
every floor routine she has done throughout her career has been superior in all aspects. there will never be another Chae

's 2021 Floor: Black Culture References
I spent an embarrassing amount of time making this lol, but I wanted to explain all the Black cultural references that I noticed! also, if you notice any references that I missed, PLEASE tell me because i'm sure i missed some!!
Maybe this is unpopular but I think a coach should be able to stand on the podium on vault (and floor and beam) without any deduction at all.
Seems weird to me that coaches can be on the podium for bars with no deduction, but not any other event. Maybe I’m missing something?
really disappointed that they didn't address alexis jeffrey and instead just brushed it off as "drama". racism is serious, not "drama" nor "tea". i understand they were probably told specifically not to address it, but still
