2024 Totals ASX Growth Portfolio: +16.8% WTT: +78.6% ASX Momo: +28.5% ASX Momo PLUS: TBA (circa +27%) US HFT: +25.1% US Momo: +77.6% DTVI: +46.5% ETF Diversifier: – on hold while I travel Managed Account Multi: +50.5% (net of fees) All Weather US: +28.6% ASX: +35.4% Total account about +42.1% It’s been a solid year, especially considering I shifted around 40% of my total portfolio into the low-volatility, lower-growth All Weather strategy. Across all accounts and strategies, the maximum daily drawdown was -12.02%, and I ended the year roughly -2% below all-time equity highs. That said, the All Weather strategy delivered an outstanding performance, achieving a combined return of approximately 34.4% with a maximum daily drawdown of just -5.12%. My primary concern, however, is understanding why All Weather performed at such a record level. Holding gold, equities, and Bitcoin throughout the year certainly paid off, but the issue is that these assets have been moving in tandem. More concerningly, US bond yields are at their highest levels since 2006. This isn’t sustainable, and something will eventually give. While I’m not an expert in fundamentals, my guess is that both the bond and gold markets are pricing in a significant spike in inflation, potentially driven by anticipated Trump policies. If that’s the case, equities could face headwinds in the coming year. This year also felt like a ‘proving ground’ for many newer clients, particularly after the challenges of 2022 and 2023. It’s one thing for me to continually remind everyone to ‘stick to the plan’ and ‘keep pushing the buttons,’ but it’s an entirely different experience to actually do it, endure the ups and downs, and ultimately see the validation in the results. My main trading account finished the year +73.8% with a 10-year annual return of 24.7%, not quite double the $IWB Russell-1000.

@VANTERHENS @katemoneyinvest The return for the last 15-years, which is beyond the scope of 99% of investors, is that he's matched the index return with higher volatility. Cash is irrelevant.

@the_chart_life Sure. But at what cost? Tax payer pays more at the end of the day and society goes down the toilet. Corporate conflicts of interest increase > more government expense > higher taxes. Wealth gap widens > homelessness increases > theft/violence increases > taxes increase

@MichelleSenden Where were you staying? On our travels, we accidentally found a little beach village called Mui Ne which was fabulous.

@merrittblack @RealTQQQTrader @momentmal2022 @JoachimMo1985 It's the old 'you don't know what you don't know' isn't it... 10-year CAGR over 24% using 100% systematic strategies. Seems a little more than a random print at a point of time
