Can someone plz write about this snortable cannabis that is being sold in California.
Like what the fuck.
It even comes with a mini spoon for easy snorting. and a card to break it up. This is gross and not what I want to see in the cannabis industry!
As we gear up to celebrate 4/20, remember that it's a privilege to smoke weed/work in the industry.
There are currently 40k+ people incarcerated for non violent cannabis offenses.

The Wynn hotel (which is near where the world’s largest cannabis conference is being held in Vegas) has been taking legally purchased cannabis away from hotel guests AND threatening to kick guests out for simply having cannabis.
Posted this photo on Instagram and it got taken down in less than an hour.
Didn't use the word cannabis anywhere on my post.
c'mon

lemme hold a bag of weed 🥺

A guy I dated only had 2 pillows and I told him how odd that was. The next day he went and bought more. 🥰 (still didn’t last long lol but at least he had an appropriate number of pillows for the next gal)

Just to clarify- CBD is psychoactive in the sense that it can relieve anxiety, calm you etc. The correct terminology is that it is "non intoxicating". CBD only surely wouldn't have caused this man to have this experience. There was surely some THC in there too!
I started Twitter's first & only Cannabis Community!
Join now & be one of the first to be a part of this special corner of the internet, where we'll discuss the latest in cannabis news, trends, experiences, and more!
Some of y'all are BIG MAD over me asking for influencers in cannabis.
Why does the thought of influencers piss you off so much? Look inward.
& stop being an asshole to me. Thanks!
Instagram continues to disable accounts that post about cannabis.
So here's your friendly reminder that LinkedIn doesn't censor cannabis content.
There's a huge cannabis community on there! And you can even be endorsed for cannabis as a skill on your profile.
Y'all using cannabis does not prevent you from getting Covid.
The articles y'all are so eagerly sharing is about a study that used CBDA & CBGA not even CBD or THC.
So no, smoking a joint won't make you immune from getting Covid.
Plz stop sharing clickbait that misleads people
Excited to share that I've been named a Chair for a cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome study. We apply for funding tmrw & will know in 3 months if we've received grant money to conduct a first of its kind study across emergency room departments in 3 major cities.
Follow Friday with a Twist: instead of me suggesting people for you to follow, I'd like for you to suggest who in cannabis or journalism that I should follow. :)
Let's make this a thread of epic people.👇🏼
Update on my love life: my dating website brought someone really amazing into my life. We spent a month FaceTiming before finally meeting & things have been quite wonderful. He made my birthday extra special. We take 🍄 together weekly. He's great & I am happy. 🥰
One of the biggest cannabis influencers in the country has come out to share that she is going to be more mindful of her consumption b/c the all day, every day tokes has led to some unpleasant feelings.
Big ups to
@koalapuffss
for being open and honest with her audience!
A brand reached out to me to "collab" & said they are all about empowering women. I offered to send them my rates & they said they weren't doing paid collabs at this time.
How're you going to say you empower women when you're trying to get free work out of them?
I don't like the phrase "plants over pills"
I'm someone who can no longer use cannabis & had to switch to pharmaceuticals to deal with my depression & anxiety.
+ others rely on pills for various reasons.
We shouldn't shame people for needing pills. Cannabis isn't a cure all.
Canceled on a first date tonight because I'm on my period & miserable and this is how he responded.
Men, take note.
(also let's excuse his "eatables" lol)
A neighbor posted on Next Door & asked if anyone was alone for Thanksgiving bc they have extra food to share. I responded bc hi I am HELLA extra alone rn & now I'm about to have a traditional thanksgiving dinner & I could cry from joy. 😭 that kindness yall
I have Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome. Cannabis makes me extremely sick. I’m dedicated to finding a cure & recently spoke at a cannabis medical science conference on the world’s first panel about CHS.
You can watch the whole panel here.

Anyone who uses this syndrome to further their agenda against cannabis does NOT have my support nor the support of the cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome community.
Heads up that on Instagram, the link sticker is being rolled out to everyone.
This means that writers can link to their articles directly in stories!
Retweet to educate a friend on this new Instagram feature.
Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome is not a reason to limit anyones access to cannabis. It only effects a small subset of people. And those who it does effect are still pro cannabis (like myself). We LOVE weed and want everyone to be able to enjoy it, even if we can't.
I was sick of missing out on online cannabis events so I built a directory of all the awesome upcoming online cannabis events. Best of all, it's free for anyone to use!

Took 🍄 last night and had a good solid cry. Let it all out. Feeling a bit more clarity today.
Grateful for mushrooms & grateful for

for educating me on consumption methods.
Cannabinoid Hyperemesis being talked about on
@BostonGlobe
. The journalist (

) heard my story on
@bruvs
podcast & became interested on the topic. She interviewed a lot of doctors for this piece. Thank you,

Before I jump in, let me explain why I can speak factually about this. I am a patient of CHS, have devoted the last 4 years of my life to research & awareness, have conducted the world's largest survey (330) of CHS patients, and am in touch with 17,000 people who have CHS.
I'm in a Facebook group where we call cannabis "salad" because otherwise our posts will get flagged.
We also call each other croutons because why not. 🌿
Lol just saw a job listing for a cannabis social media position where the person was expected to:
- create content
- write captions
- grow accounts
- manage community
For SIX different companies + executive leaders pages too.
That's like 2-4 diff positions wrapped into 1 job
It's so easy to support your peers - a simple story share or retweet can go a long way for a freelancer/entrepreneur.
Support your peers, y'all. Shout out that person doing cool shit. It helps- a lot.
Most of y'all on here know, I deal with a lot of bullying for speaking out about cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome. Check out my story in

Shoutout to all the journalists who email me back, even when it's a pass.
I know it takes energy to say "pass" but for real, knowing it's a hard no is appreciated vs wondering if you read the email.
I appreciate the communication as I know y'all are overwhelmed by emails. Thx
Excited to announce that last month I joined the LinkedIn Creator Program!
This means I get a LinkedIn mentor, inside scoop on trends, support, & more.
This is a HUGE win for the cannabis industry - a platform is knowingly supporting my journey as a cannabis content creator!
I've grown the

Instagram by over 1000 followers in the last month. Are you one of the cool peeps following the account? If not - go follow to stay up to date with the latest cannabis news.
The media likes to blame "high potency pot" for cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome. There is zero proof or research that increased THC potency is to blame for CHS. It's simply a theory. A theory worth exploring for sure, but there's currently no data to support it.
If you see a camera crew following me around in Vegas, NBD - just being filmed by a major media outlet for a documentary about CHS. 😱🤯
j/k THIS IS A BIG DEAL
What the cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome community wants is research, awareness, education, and a solution. We want to go back to smoking weed. Weed is our favorite. But we can't consume until we have a cure. And that's a long ways away from happening.
Speaking of cure, so many people say "quit using & you'll get better" - that's a simplified approach to a complex problem. I quit cannabis and still threw up for 16 days straight and almost died. Plus, w/o awareness, people don't even KNOW they are getting sick from cannabis use.
I've stopped sharing details about all of the online bullying I deal w/ because I feel like a broken record. but just know that I still receive hateful messages & comments DAILY from people within the industry who are mad that I'm talking about cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome
Best email subject line I've ever seen from someone who truly gets that 4/20 is insanely busy.
I wish all emails sent this week had this subject line lmaooo
Learned something new here? Scroll to the top of this thread and retweet my first tweet to help others better understand cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome.
Scromiting is a real part of cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome. Not everyone with CHS will scream while they vomit but some may. It's intense and scary. Talking about it should remain factual and educational and not be used to fear monger, even though it is a frightening thing.
I made a post on LinkedIn and asked my connections if they/their brand are on Twitter. Most of the people who have responded have said no because "Twitter is too negative of a place" and "cannabis consumers aren't on twitter."
Thoughts?
I have spoken at medical conferences, colleges, & more. Doctors & patients worldwide come to ME for advice regarding CHS because I am highly knowledgable around the subject.
Also worth noting: I have worked in cannabis for 11 years.
Let's jump in 👇🏻
Dating life update: I met someone. He's amazing. And he oddly enough also has cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome and can't smoke weed.
I love this for me. 💕
There's a cannabis influencer (90k followers) who is offering her followers resources to get v
@ccine
cards.
I'm at a loss for words over the stupidity.
Most social media managers do zero research into the cannabis influencers they reach out to. It blows my mind how often I get approached to do posts in exchange for product. HI - weed makes me sick. And also you should pay content creators b/c product doesn’t pay bills.
If you have any questions about cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, visit this website I built for easy learning. There's an FAQ + links to 20+ research papers on the topic.
I used to receive free weed because I'd create content/promote the products. Now that I'm enjoying mushrooms, can the same thing happen? Will someone be my mushroom supplier? plz & thx
I forgot to announce on Twitter that I'm now the Vice President of

I was on the Board of Directors for 2022, so I'm excited to help lead the board this year!
Monday night: launched a LinkedIn newsletter
by Wednesday I had over 2500 people sign up
& by Friday I secured 4 sponsorships for the newsletter
I am proud of myself & grateful for everyone's support.
Thank you.
In the last year, I've worked with over 150 cannabis creators on behalf of clients across the country.
We've seen great content and viewership from these campaigns.

Cannabis industry, take note.
I've got a heart breaking story involving cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome misdiagnosis.
Spoke to someone who lost their BFF last week to stomach cancer. The woman was misdiagnosed w/ CHS for years & by the time they discovered the stomach cancer, it was terminal.
3 years ago today I was diagnosed with cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome
It's been an extremely challenging 3 years living life w/o cannabis. Cannabis was my medicine. I used it to treat my anxiety and depression. I hope that one day a cure will be found.
Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome is a very real condition that is becoming more common as states legalize and consumption is more widely accepted.
We have no clue how rare or common CHS is because there is no medical code to track cases in the United States.
Spreading awareness about Cannabinoid Hyperemesis is something I can’t do alone. So thank you to everyone who helps me raise awareness, who chime in w/ facts when I’ve exhausted myself mentally, & who show support online and offline. I appreciate you. I need you. THANK YOU. 💚
