Many Americans are infected with the delusion of 'American Exceptionalism'. It's the idea that when we do bad things it doesn't count because our intentions are pure and good. If any other country threatened Gaza, Denmark, Greenland, Mexico, Iran and Venezuela with annexation, intervention or war, we would rightly call it an authoritarian, imperial, rogue regime with no legitimacy. THIS IS HOW THE WORLD CORRECTLY VIEWS US, WAKE UP, OUR ACTIONS MATTER. 'We think we mean well' isn't a legitimate excuse, it's also objectively false! We're subject to the exact same bad incentives as every empire ever: money, natural resources, power, control.
