@sammideedub @dieworkwear Defense budget has been more than 55% of the discretionary budget for over 2 decades. It’s the biggest piece. You’re saying , just pull the rug out? That’s it ? I’m all for making cuts I am just trying to understand how best to do it. A rapid change could crush us all

@sammideedub @dieworkwear It’s that the defense contracts feed into publicly traded companies and toms of jobs. I’m just trying to make sense of how to slack this huge pie, as far as the immediate pain. I don’t work for a defense contractor and I’m not a veteran. I’m just a CPA with an Econ background

My son is an aspiring engineering student. We have 3 3D printers and he designs and prints all sorts of things. Mostly small chassis and engine related things for small RC cars. Right now he’s building an electric engine to power an RC jet. It’s ambitious but he’s only a sophomore in high school. Thank you for your comment. Lots of good advice here. I’m a CPA , not an engineer

@dieworkwear I am in favor of reducing it , I just think it has to be a controlled descent so it doesn’t rock GDP. This is going to be tricky to do as they go forward, but I’m in favor. Sorry if that didn’t come across that way
