Enemies can hurt each other in a variety of ways; dodge gunfire at the right time and they'll shoot each other, kick one toward another and knock both down, hit an electrified guy into another and they're both electrified. Look for these opportunities.

It relates directly to how seriously it's taken as a department, career and skillset. Which relates to how often they are unfairly blamed and thrown under the bus.

This. What we want and what we have the time and resources to achieve are frequently out of alignment.
This is why features get cut, bugs make it to release and so many more things that get erroneously placed under the umbrella of "lazy devs."
One thing that I believe will become clear as people learn more deeply what game development entails is that in these situations, where a new release is really buggy, the individual developers need your support, not your ire. They're not getting the resources they need.

Successfully convinced a friend to sign into my PS account on their PS5 just to boot BG3 as me and enable Cross-Save so I could continue the file on PC that I had started via the PS5 timed trial. I had some good rolls in that first ~90 mins, dammit!
