@TheChiefNerd It’s really important for @CommunityNotes to weigh into posts like these. Without context on things like the proportions of people experiencing these effects vs not, OR results or peer reviewed studies, it’s really hard to assess the relevance of these arguments

@VivekGRamaswamy So does that mean he can’t take credit for spikes in crypto or anything that happened prior to Jan 20? Or does it only work for negative things?

That’s a fair point but the fact remains, all DOGE and Musk are are unelected government officials. Every government agency has one or more elected official that can tie their campaign messaging to what the agency does. The only difference currently is that Musk and DOGE are on the winning side. I hope it works, but we do we really assume that Musk/DOGE are the only ethically sound agency?

@AutismCapital Why doesn’t @CommunityNotes correct this? Even Grok adds the correct context. What’s the point of community notes if they miss these easy ones that can cause so much belief in statement lacking important context and in some instances is not true @elonmusk ??

@elonmusk @CommunityNotes per Grok there seems to be some nuance here that suggest we don’t know for sure if it’s his

Wow @elonmusk @CommunityNotes what a failure to prevent misinformation if in fact USAID didn’t send $8million to politico. I bought it hook line and sinker, and it wasn’t disputed by either of you. But thankfully I can cross check with Grok for the truth. I hope @joerogan does that before he talks to his millions of followers. Here’s what Grok

I mean the posts weren’t even subtle. From @grok Marko Elez, a staff member of Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), resigned after his racist posts on social media came to light. According to various reports and posts found on X, the content of his posts included: - Advocating for the repeal of the Civil Rights Act. - Statements like, "You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity." - Encouraging to "normalize Indian hate." - Supporting a "eugenic immigration policy." - Comments like, "Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool." - Hostile remarks towards both sides in the Israel-Gaza conflict, including, "I would not mind at all if Gaza and Israel were both wiped off the face of the Earth." These posts were part of a now-deleted X account, which had previously used the handle @marko_elez before switching to @nullllptr. The information has been reported by multiple sources like The Wall Street Journal, NPR, and various posts on X.

@JDVance I mean, I believe in second chances but the new administration sure doesn’t seem to feel like fighting the narrative that it’s either racist or ok with racism within its ranks…
