An MP on the Assisted Suicide Bill committee: "There is a danger of some people allowing the perfect to be the enemy of the good & there will never be a perfect bill" Less than perfect is ok for DIY, relationships, baking a cake but not for a law where one mistake = a life lost

You know the Assisted Suicide Bill committee? The select group of MPs charged with ensuring the safest law possible? They met 8 witnesses from countries where medically assisted suicide is legal Every single one of them was pro assisted suicide Every. Single. One.

To reassure us that this truly is the safest possible assisted suicide law... A very pro MP personally selected a committee with a majority of other pro MPs (14-9) To analyse the Bill in more detail they chose to interview a majority (80%) of pro assisted suicide witnesses Wow

@ddhitchens Thank you - but many other Disabled people & groups came before, educated me yet have mostly been ignored & silenced when they've spoken out against assisted suicide for decades. I'm thinking of @NotDeadYetUSA established in 1996 & @TheNotDeadYetUK then set up by @BnsJaneCampbell
