Chris Paul missed two games and is still rounding into form. Devin Booker broke a nose in game 2 and hasn't been the same since. Sure Leonard makes a huge difference but let's not pretend the Suns, who were the 2 seed for a reason, have been an example of great health.

Jedd Fisch failing to bring much of the roster to Washington is not a knock on him so much as it is a sign that the players he brought to Tucson truly are special. Not just in their talent, but their personalities.

It made sense to fear the worst for Arizona when Jedd Fisch split town. But now that it looks like only a few Wildcats are following him, the many who stayed are what this program is all about.

What if, and stay with me, much of the optimism for Arizona at least is due to what is already on the roster?
Might be a difficult concept for some, but while the coaching change hurt this year's recruiting it didn't decimate the roster like many thought (or ASU honks hoped).
Just took a peek at the two lowest-graded signing classes in the Big 12.
It's crazy because both these fan bases think they'll be in the CFP next year.
